Exercise coordinator and ground and joint fires SME. Elected for a second term that begins 1 Jan 14. Serve as Chair of the Central Iowa Regional Drinking Water Commission, Finance Committee, Human Resources Committee, and Public Works Committee. Assist the Mayor and City Staff in decision making, policy direction and ordnance implementation, including tax levy, project priortization and future developments. Working with neighborhoods to enhance communications with city hall and receive input for future development and improvements. Strategic planning and working with city staff for municipal development.

Coordinated volunteer support in completing home improvement projects for senior and disabled homeowners who were physically or financially unable to accomplish needed tasks that increase the value of the home and quality of life for the residents.

I worked with Presidential, Congressional and State candidates for office, organizing phone calling and assisting in door to door events. I continue to be involved with the party and important issues.

Chairman Sports and Recreation Complex Referendum Committee for the City of Johnston. We are working on the creation of a multi-use facility for residents and outside participants to have available for athletic and cultural events.

A unique and diverse military background and experience. I began in the Artillery, learning operations and intelligence roles. As I continued my career, I picked up administrative training and skills and became a logistician. As a logistican, I was involved in every facet of the logistics arena, from first line supply to wholesale and warehousing. I was a Platoon Sergeant with up to 40 personnel under me. I also became instructor certified and assisted in the education and training of Officer Candidates while assigned to the Regional Training Battalion, Iowa Military Academy.
