Lead the talent and people-focused work for KIPP Bay Area Public Schools. The focus of this work is to establish an efficient, equitable and transparent people process that prioritizes the identification, hiring and the development of a steady, self-renewing stream of leaders. Work to build a positive professional experience for staff within the organization. Supports the Human Resources department with employee relations and employee compliance. Leads the leadership development of managers at the organization's Regional Support Office. Manages the Director of Talent and the Director of Human Resources.

Led the talent work for the KIPP Bay Area Public Schools Regional Support Office. Established an efficient, equitable and transparent talent process for the RSO that prioritizes the ability to identify, hire and develop a steady, self-renewing stream of leaders. Also, led the organization's People team, which includes the Talent and Human Resources departments. Managed the Director of KIPP Through College, as well as the regional High School Matriculation Manager.

Provided a comprehensive, integrated and aligned system of support for all KIPP Bay Area Public Schools students and alumni. Oversaw the student services teams which include Special Education, KIPP Through College, and School Culture. Part of a team charged with leading an integrated multi-tiered student support approach that results in best in class schools.

Set the vision and lead the region’s alumni services department of twenty-five staff members to ensure that KIPP Bay Area high school students and 1,200 alumni in college are supported to and through college by receiving college admissions advising, college persistence/completion advising, and career readiness support.

Founded and led a public middle school in West Oakland that is part of the national KIPP school network. KIPP Bridge began during the summer of 2003 as part of the New Small Autonomous Schools network in the Oakland Unified School District and was converted to a charter school during the summer of 2007. KIPP Bridge was consistently ranked among the top five highest performing public middle schools in Oakland.

Completed year-long fellowship in preparation to open a KIPP school.

Taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and served as 8th grade Team Leader.

Trained and supported group of 12 new Teach For America corps members during their Summer Institute in preparation for their two-year teaching commitments.

Completed two-year teaching commitment at placement school in Baltimore, MD.
