Manage the Specialty Clinics Service Line to include infectious diseases, dental, oral maxillofacial surgery, wound care, and hyperbaric medicine clinics.Manage staff of 56 members to included registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, wound care technicians, hyperbaric technicians, dental assistants, hygienists, grant specialists, data analyst, health educators, social workers, patient navigators, and administrative support personnel. Serve as the Principal Investigator for the Ryan White Part C Federal Grant and the Ryan White Part A Subcontract.Manage 5 hospital cost centers budgets to include monitoring and developing. Serve as the primary liaison for providers in clinic to address opportunities. Develop and implement clinic operations policies and procedures.Ensure patient and provider satisfaction through routine rounding.Track operational performance indicators and identified improvement opportunities.Maintain staff competency standards.Evaluate staff, provide feedback, and monitor improvement.Responsible for hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Manage accreditation survey initiatives and other auditing agencies. Ensure adherence to established clinic protocols and policies, institutional and regulatory quality initiatives.Initiate and implement quality improvement toward accreditation or regulatory requirements.Conduct audits to ensure revenue integrity.Work with billing office to identify opportunities for improvement.Ensure the effective flow of clinic operations by ensuring right size staffing, equipment, and supplies.Coordinate with patient access team to ensure schedule optimization. Represent ambulatory care clinics at interdepartmental committees (Infection Control, Epic optimization, Grievance Committee, Hospital Quality, HIV Program Quality Committee)

•Manage the HIV Outpatient Program to include primary medical care, oral health, social services, mental health, and health education•Prepare the HIV Outpatient Program (HOP) Clinic’s grant proposal; organize the approach; collect necessary data and take the lead in writing the proposal (Ryan White Part A, C, D)•Prepare all of the budgets and negotiate contracts and subcontracts for the Ryan White Proposals•Monitor grant and program performance •Assist in the management and resolution of problems related to staffing and resources.•Communicate with project officers and other personnel from the Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as well as LSUHSC Management and other LSUHSC personnel.•Supervise the administrative personnel required to implement and monitor the grants program.•Organize and commence interdisciplinary teams required to maximize clinic and grant performance.•Participate in community collaborative committees, both local and state•Monitor expenditures, revenues, and provide regular reports to all government institutions, the HIV Division Director and LSU Infectious Diseases Section Chief and the hospital administration.•Assist the HIV Division Director and Infectious Diseases Section Chief in preparing clinical budgets, such as the Professional Services Contract with the Interim LSU Public Hospital.•Monitor staffing needs; participate in recruitment and evaluation of staff performance; serve as consultant to the HIV Division Director and LSU Infectious Diseases Section Chief regarding management of problems produced by personnel vacancies, budget cuts or other unexpected changes to the HIV Outpatient Clinic or LSU Professional Services contract.
