David is an Associate Professor in the School of Management, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He holds a BMSE (Management Science and Engineering), an MMGT and a PhD in International Business from Massey University, New Zealand. His main research interests include digital technology innovation and international business. David is the author of over 60 refereed research outputs, among which over 30 research articles have appeared in ABDC A*/A-ranked leading or SSCI journals with a high ISI impact factor, e.g., International Journal of Production Economics, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Long Range Planning, Journal of Global Information Management, Family Business Review and many others. David was a Director of AI & Digital Business Research Group at Massey Business School, Massey University, New Zealand. He served as a Senior Associate Professor at XJTLU University. David has served as track chair, session chair, board member, and invited speaker at international conferences. He has served as Associate Editor, Special Issue Editor, and a member of Editorial Boards for several leading international journals. He has been invited and served as an Ad Hoc reviewer for a wide range of A*/A-ranked international journals. David holds an FHEA fellowship, a Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching (PGCert TT), and has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various delivery modes, e.g., about Innovation and New Ventures; Technology Governance and Risk Management; Operational Management; International Business; Growing Multinational Enterprises; International Supply Chain Management; Managing Organisations; Business Ethics. He has been involved in graduate-level supervision and supervised more than 17 postgraduate students, including research master students and PhD candidates, to successful completion. David served on several school and college level committees, e.g., the College Research Committee [2024]; IB Specialization Lead in MMgt specialization advisory group for MBS [2021- 2023]; a Committee member for the Teaching and Learning Committee of SOM [2014]; SSLC [2019 - 2023]. He was an active champion in MBS, looking after the international program for MBS at Massey University. David served as a guest researcher at the research centers of two international universities.
