ISSOW production area authority overseeing daily operational activities. Supervising the production team and any ad-hoc vendors onboard ensuring that their safety, health and welfare are maintained to company standards. Carrying out general duties as appropriate, including; updating/creating procedures, activity risk assessments, isolations, performance appraisals and reporting of daily production figures. Ensuring the delivery of production specific maintenance activities in line with the 28 day plan.

Aoka Mizu Fpso

Operations Control Room Operator and stand in Production Supervisor when required to cover sickness & rota shortfalls on the Aoka Mizu FPSO. Delivering successful first oil ahead of schedule on the UK's first fractured basement rock production wells. Carrying out interim tests and equipment start-ups safely and efficiently, through clear and precise communication with engineering, commissioning & production teams. Ensuring the safe and effective operation of the platform and equipment via Kongsberg ICSS while continuing commissioning of the vessel in phase two of the project.

Aoka Mizu Fpso

Member of the pre-production commissioning team due to deliver the Aoka Mizu to the Lancaster field for Hurricane Energy. Based in Dubai & Rotterdam during vessel commissiong phase. Duties will include the safe start up & operation of the production facilities on-board the vessel & provide CRO cover when required.

Catcher Fpso

Part of the BW Offshore commissioning project of the Catcher FPSO situated in Singapore. Part of the pre-production team assisting commissioning with new build FPSO in partnership with Premier Oil. Sailed to north sea south east sector business area along with vessel where core role was the safe running and start-up/shutdown of plant. Core duties included monitoring of both the production, marine and utility areas of the vessel.

Bleoholm Fpso

Worked for Repsol Sinopec Resources UK on the Bleo Holm FPSO situated in the UK North Sea Northern Business Area as part of the Production shift teams responsible for the safe running and startup/shutdown of plant. Core duties include plant monitoring including readings, shift routines and first line maintenance on crude separation trains, gas compression for well lift injection and import/export facilities, glycol gas dehydration, produced water injection and chemical dosing systems.

Bleoholm Fpso

Working aboard the BleoHolm FPSO operated by Talisman/Sinopec. Responsible for the sampling and analysis of production and utility fluids and gases, chemical injection , including monitoring & repairing of chemical injection pumps, maintaining chemical stocks , assisting chemical trials and projects, offloading cargo to tankers, assisting the operations team with operator duties when required and taking part in the NVQ production operator programme . Maintaining and calibrating the laboratory equipment and reporting all analysis results.

Brae Alpha Platform / Alba North Platform

Sampling and analysis of production and utility fluids and gases. Chemical injection surveillance, including monitoring of chemical injection pumps, maintaining chemical pump function, inventory reporting and ordering. Chemical stock management and control. Maintaining equipment and stock in the Production Chemistry Laboratory. Production of daily and weekly production reports. Fire team member duties.

Work preparation for offshore chemical trials and projects, ensuring all equipment required was sent to site. Taking part in chemical replacement trails, scale squeezes, amine plant commissioning & other various projects on installations for Total, Talisman, BP and Nexen. Took part in successful calcium naphthenate trail over a nine month period onboard BleoHolm FPSO which resulted in naphthenates being prevented from forming in the system and chemical contract for being awarded to Clariant.

As an analyst at Intertek I carried out a range of testing on oil, gas and produced water samples. The range of analysis required meant that I gained experience in almost all laboratory testing required for oil allocation testing. Worked within a team who were responsible for the analysis of oil samples from platforms using the forties pipeline and composing reports for overview by the clients.
