In more detail, the job involved - Managing individual projects from initiation to closure, including the production of e-learning solutions for audiences at all levels, from those at a departmental level all the way up to group wide national and international levels.- Designing, scripting and building learning content, ensuring it meets best design specification and standards. - Evaluating the effectiveness of learning interventions- Developing a standard set of processes for the delivery of learning material- Assisting in the delivery and upkeep of electronic learning material - Assisting in the management of external learning suppliers- Maintaining an understanding of the current and future climate of the industry and emerging technologies.

The role involved: - Outlining and creating instructional material suitable for electronic dissemination within agreed budgets and timescales- Managing projects from initiation through to closure, including managing third party supplier relationships where applicable- Developing and maintaining the Group Training Intranet site using FrontPage and latterly an in-house Content Management System.

- Providing a training and consultancy service to the broad internal client base. Including proposing, designing and delivering training solutions for the Financial Consultancy sales force and branch support staff.- Managing the accuracy and standard of all sales licence courses. Control of content and training materials in line with the needs of the sales force. Ensuring that the mandatory requirements of the Society and the regulatory requirements of the various Regulators are adhered to.

- Managing the development, promotion and implementation of sales campaigns and sales development activity for the Financial Consultancy sales force and their Corporate Tied Agents.

- Managing the transformation of regulatory rules from understanding to implementation of effective marketing material - Creating campaign material for end of year tax campaigns- Planning and co-ordination of marketing material to assist pensions campaigns

- Administration of various personal pension plans including calculation of pension figures, Cheque handling and other general administrative duties- Dealing with written and verbal customer enquiries
