- Worked on software development of IEC 62304 Class IIB medical devices utilizing FPGAs, ARM microcontrollers, SPI, I2C, and UARTs using the C programming language.- Implemented Modbus Communication Protocol to allow communication with external surgical devices.- Wrote Unit Tests for all production code.- Developed Windows Apps in C# to aid in software development of embedded systems.- Worked on developing a robust, lightweight, and expandable database implementation to allow for our Surgical Camera to interface with and control new devices in the future.- Developed proof-of-concept remote control application, allowing control of the surgical camera and connected devices wirelessly via a Windows 10 tablet.

I first came to Camp Wigwam in 2006 as a camper and became a bunk counselor for the 2010 camp season. My main roles as a counselor were to show and explain to campers the proper techniques for kayaking and canoeing, how to build both kit and custom model rockets, and how to use Adobe Photoshop 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS2 to create both original content and modify and integrate photos into existing projects.I was the director of the Graphic Arts program from 2011-2013, the co-director of Rocketry for the 2011 season, and the director for Kayaking and Canoeing from 2010-2011.In addition to my daily responsibilities, I also took part in several projects and had a few unofficial duties:- Taking part in the design and building of high-powered model rockets, some of which integrated cameras or altimeters into the fuselage.- The design, construction, and wiring of a full-sized NeoGeo-inspired arcade cabinet with a fellow counselor, and making use of Solidworks 2013 for the design phase.- I was the defacto IT-guy from 2010-2013, this job involved the upkeep of the camp's administrative computer hardware and software (Windows XP through Windows 7). The procurement, repair, and replacement of the Graphic Arts computer systems (PowerPC G3/G4/G5 and x86 Intel Core architectures, OS X 10.4.11 Tiger and OS X 10.4.11 Tiger Server). I also repaired any counselor laptops that would get damaged over the course of each season.- I was one of two full-time camp photographers for the 2013 season.
