I am an undergraduate student at Grand Canyon University set to graduate in May 2024 with a BA in Communications and a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. I hold experience in screenwriting/playwriting, voice acing and voice over, sound engineering, and voice directing. I hold a great passion for the art of storytelling and the drive to see good stories realized for the sake of telling them. I have been writing scripts since grade school and have continued to build my skills as a writer continuously over the years from both personal studies and professional classes. Thanks to this I have been taught under professional writers and have become proficient in effectively writing in Final Draft screenwriting software. My passion for writing led me to write, and now direct, GCU's third radio drama consisting of a five-part miniseries inspired by classic detective radio mysteries. This project is titled Crimson Ink and is currently in production with the help of the GCU Recording Lab. In addition to screenwriting, my love for acting has led me to perform in many different roles during my time at GCU both on the stage and behind a microphone. Stage play roles such as Bouc from Murder on the Orient express and Osric from Hamlet coincided from my voice-led roles such as Mr. Potter from It's a Wonderful Life and John Brooke in Little Women. My performance as Plankton in SpongeBob: The Musical led me to receive an invitation to the KCACTF Irene Ryan regional acting competition in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was one of fifteen chosen to participate in finals out of 2,000 students. My certificate of finals qualification can be seen on my profile. I have recently begun practicing audio engineering under the guidance of GCU Recording Studio head manager, Eric Johnson. During my time at the studio, I gained experience in Avid: Pro Tools sound engineering and design software.
