I am a retired senior UK police officer/SIO, with a wealth of experience in the investigation & management of serious and organised crime. Since retiring from the UK police in 2007, I have been active in the international policing arena, focussing on major crime investigation, investigative interviewing, criminal intelligence, covert policing, and professional standards. I have also been an associate tutor with the then UK College of Policing International Academy, and have delivered bespoke training in a number of overseas locations, including hostile environments. I am a ‘Deployable Civilian Expert’ (DCE) with the UK Government's Stabilisation Unit/OCSM.Between 2017 and 2022, I was engaged on a UNODC programme in Nigeria delivering investigation, investigative interviewing and criminal intelligence training & mentoring to the Nigerian Drugs Law Enforcement Agency. Previously I was a senior policing advisor on a UK DFID policing programme in Malawi. I have also worked in several countries in the Middle & Far East, and am comfortable in any overseas environment, including those suffering conflict.I deliver quality investigative training, mentoring & advising, tailored to individual country & agency requirements.
