I deal with all aspects of land and planning for C G Fry & Son Limited, an award-winning, family-owned regional housebuilder based in West Dorset. I work closely with the MD, Philip Fry, on land opportunities and acquisition, work opportunities through Local Plans, secure planning permissions and deal with all other aspects such as condition discharges, minor amendments and enforcement.C G Fry is active across the south west from Romsey in the east and Calne and Bradford-on-Avon in the north to Newquay to the west. The Company has three main operational areas being General Contracting, Housebuilding/Development and "Partnership Housing" (providing design and build and contracting services to the Housing Association and Community Land Trust sectors on their own sites).The Company employs around 100 people including trades and site operatives and is currently enjoying a successful run of sites proposed for allocation across the region in Core Strategies and Local Plans. The Company prides itself on working closely with local communities and other stakeholders to create places, not just housing developments.
