Since i joined AST, I helped the development of equipments used in the assembly, integration and testing of various projects in the Aerospace Industry. Projects such as the AWS Platform Framework and the ARIEL Baffle Telescope that are monitored by ESA.In these projects I helped in the development of design solutions (equipment) for operations that were necessary to validate the Satellite Structure as assembly and integration equipment or ground support equipment for testing (Vibration and Thermal).Each of these pieces of equipment has detailed documentation associated with it explaining its functions, operating methods and also the detailed assembly procedure explaining how to assemble it.The design was produced using 3D modeling software and for the manufacturing aspect of the same, 2D manufacturing drawings were also created using the same 3D modeling software (CATIA V5).

The main product of this company is the manufacture of buses, here I supported the current mechanical engineers with 2D and 3D design. The main design softwares used were the AutoCad and Solid Works. This internship was a necessary part of my master's degree and had the main objective of preparing me for a professional environment, working on real life applications.
