CurrentEnvironmental Energy Technologies Division Lead development of software for predicting airflow and pollutant dispersion in buildings. Apply experimental, analytical, and simulation methods to problems of protecting building occupants from indoor and outdoor releases of chemical or biological materials. Work with NIST on the CONTAM multizone simulation tool [http://www.bfrl.nist.gov/IAQanalysis/]. Added a new pollutant transport solver to CONTAM. Plan and implement approaches to exchanging data between indoor and outdoor models. Formulated and wrote the IITM tool for predicting dispersion of particles due to tracking and resuspension. Formulated and wrote the PASS tool for probabilistic sampler siting. Wrote the MURnet tool for optimizing indoor sampler networks.
