Aurion Resources Limited, a publically traded company, is an exploration company with operations in Canada, USA, Mexico and Finland. The Company has rights to significant land holdings in British Columbia, Nevada, Mexico and Finland. As CFO from 2010 to January 2018, , I directed the accounting, finance, budgeting, taxation and financial control activities of the organization, as well as contributing to the overall strategic planning for the company as a member of the Board of Directors.

The Cornerstone Group of companies includes the publicly traded parent company, Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. which has wholly-owned mining exploration subsidiary companies in Canada, Ecuador and Chile. The Company, by itself and through various Joint Venture Agreements with major mining companies, has rights to significant land holdings in Newfoundland & Labrador, Ecuador and Chile. As CFO and Corporate Secretary from 2005 to 2015, I directed the accounting, finance, budgeting, taxation and financial control activities of the organization, as well as contributing to the overall strategic planning for the company as a member of the Board of Directors. I was also a member of the Board of Directors for wholly owned subsidiaries Cornerstone Ecuador SA (Ecuador), and La Plata Minerales SA (Ecuador).

Contract position to manage the start-up of the new Teachers’ Pension Plan Corporation of Newfoundland & Labrador. Responsible to assist in the transition of the Pension Plan from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to the new Corporation. I was responsible for the appointments of Auditors, Legal Counsel, Actuaries and all Corporation staff, as well as the preparation of all Governance, Human Resource and Information Management policies and procedures.

Joined CHC in 1998 prior to its major European acquisitions. I was a member of a small team of individuals responsible for CHC’s acquisitions, which resulted in the company moving from a relatively small player in a large market to the undisputed world leader in the offshore oil and gas helicopter industry with assets exceeding $1 billion. During this time, I successfully built a global Treasury function within the Company during its period of growth. I was responsible for relations and negotiations with our Corporate Bankers and International Banking Syndicate Group; management of the company’s debt and investments; global cash management functions; financing of the company’s large leased aircraft portfolio; relations with the corporation’s bond rating agencies and stock exchanges; management of the foreign exchange and interest rate hedging programs to ensure the company’s risk exposures in these areas were well managed.
