Above all else, I like to create, build, and manage things. In recent years, small businesses have provided an avenue by which to influence growth and financial models in meaningful ways. Currently, I’m the Business Manager for Delaney Advanced Technologies, a growing cyber security company in the DC area. My primary role is to direct the back office, business development, and contract management toward growth, facilitating and expanding company relationships with prime contractor partners and agency clients. My team is the engine of the company’s growth, and I’m proud to say we’re responsible for maintaining solvent standards for the entire company.Although it is much the same throughout my career, it wasn’t always this way though. In the late university years, as a Neuroscience undergraduate, I landed a prestigious internship with Associate Professor Ted Dumas’s PBNJ lab at Krasnow Institute for Advanced Research, working directly under Bob Gardner. I quickly took on a larger role throughout the lab, including management, supply advisor, data analysis, and technical writing, along with all the detailed skills involved in biochemistry wet-lab work.All the while before, during, and after college, I wrote books. I recently finished the final edit to the first volume of a book series (got all that?).During school and during book writing, I supported various company missions through remote work and temporary employment projects. While with a specialized TS/SCI/FSP focused cyber security company, Sphinx Solutions, I coordinated communications, and strategized on challenges, while facilitating and expanding company relationships with prime contractor partners and agency clients.When the work day thins out, I enjoy relaxing with my lady or close friends, or hitting the gym. My Solstice GXP usually also receives a nice pampering after some turbocharged up-shifting too. I love new shows and movies, but I also have this knack of sliding into movies I’ve already seen and finding something new I didn’t catch before. If I have extra downtime, I’ll walk and listen to a podcast or crack a book. Of course I’m always up for new hike trails, new food, and new people.Currently, I’m seeking new or additional employment. I would like opportunities that can utilize the skills I’ve acquired while also providing new challenges toward the pursuit of meaningful personal and professional growth.
