Carry out day to day Network Infrastructure management, security,monitoring, maintenance and operations to support the the goals of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to find the cure for Cystic Fibrosis disease. Duties & Responsibilities:• Day-to-day operational oversight of all network elements, including routers, switches and the networking portion of firewalls.• Implementation of technical direction from the CIO and/or the Sr. Director, Infrastructure & Operations.• Develop and provide technical reports, network operational status, and project reporting (including, but not limited to, full network documentation).• Day-to-day operational support of Cisco technologies; management of the Cisco routers and switches in an enterprise environment.• Design/maintain/troubleshoot LANs/WANs.• Provide proactive designs and implementation for telecommunications lines and their interrelated systems; participate in the procurement of new and replacement telecommunications circuits.• Configure and troubleshoot routers, firewalls and switches.• Identify, diagnose and resolve network problems.• Provide daily maintenance and incident/problem resolution for network related issues.• Setting and maintaining policies, rights and security on network devices.• Support network-based infrastructure solutions based on industry best practice solutions.• Write procedural document and test solutions.

Manage network drawings, DNS, DHCP, WINS, RSA, and ACS servers. Check the health of the network on a regular basis, and notifies appropriate groups of any issues discovered. Implement, reconfigure network hardware (routers, switches, VPN concentrators, and load balancers), and perform IOS/patch upgrades and preventive maintenance as needed. Installs patch cabling for network connectivity of servers, and network devices.
