I am currently working in the UK in the position of Commercial Manager for Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd. Projects I have been involved with include:3MG access Road Widnes Cheshire: This project involved the construction of a new earthen embankment over an existing Network Rail bridge involving the construction of an earthen embankment, new drainage, environmental fencing and bund, street lighting, kerbing, surfacing and linemarking for the project. Contract- NEC Option B.Bruce Street Bridges and Newcome Drive Highway improvement Works, Swindon Wiltshire. This project involved the construction of a flood alleviation and highway improvements scheme including the construction of a new urban drainage system, incorporating attenuation pipes and tanks, the reconfiguration of existing highway layouts and the the construction of new carriageway all carried out under live traffic.Contract - NEC Option A.Greenbridge Roundabout Improvements Works. This project involved the reconfiguration of an existing roundabout including the construction of additional lanes entering onto and exiting from the existing roundabout, the narrowing of the existing roundabout to include for additional lane construction, the construction of a sustainable drainage system including swales and attenuation ponds, the installation of new stret lighting, traffic light systems, surfacing and line marking. All works were carried out under live traffic management. Contract - NEC 3 option A.Huntly Flood Prevention Scheme, Huntly, Aberdeenshire. This Project involves the construction of a new flood prevention scheme entailing the construction of new flood bunds incorporating geosyntethic clay liners and driven sheet piling along the Devron river in Huntly. This project is carried out under the NEC 3 Option B Contract.
