2016-2020: BMW AG, Director Physical Logistics, Responsible for Plant San Luis Potosi Mexico (green field site). Whilst retaining operational responsibility for Shenyang until 2017.• San Luis is first BMW plant in Mexico, in 2016 it was just Desert.• Implemented all logistics infrastructure and equipment. Created organization, recruited and delivered training requirements. Led tender for all logistics operations at the site.• Ensured all milestones were met across entire spectrum of activities with effective review/escalation/correction process.• New plant and start of production delivered on time. Ramp up to 35 vehicles/hour delivered, Organization localised, logistics performance maintained.

2015-2017 – phase 2: BMW AG, Vice President Physical Logistics. Shenyang China. Responsible for existing operations and planned further expansion.• Shenyang China now comprised of 2 vehicle plants (Tiexi and Dadong) with a combined capacity of 85 vehicles/hour. • Expanded Logistics infrastructure and Organization, to include all personnel, equipment, contracts and service providers on both greenfield site (Plant Tiexi) and additional greenfield site (Plant Dadong NEX) to deliver a combined capacity of circa 110 vehicles/hour.• Ensured all milestones were met across entire spectrum of activities with effective review/escalation/correction process.• New plant and start of production delivered on time. Ramp up to 110 vehicles/hour delivered, Organization localised, logistics performance maintained.

2011-2015 - phase 1: BMW AG, Vice President Physical Logistics. Shenyang China. Responsible for existing operations and planned expansion• Shenyang China comprised of 2 existing vehicle plants (Dadong and Foresight) with a combined capacity of 30 vehicles/hour. • Created Logistics infrastructure and Organization, including all personnel, equipment, contracts and service providers on a greenfield site (Plant Tiexi) to deliver circa 60 vehicles/hour, maintained production at Dadong, ramped down and closed Foresight.• Ensured all milestones were met across entire spectrum of activities with effective review/escalation/correction process.• New plant and start of production delivered on time. Ramp up to 60 vehicles/hour delivered with no disruption to existing production and best logistics performance in BMW network.

2010 – 2011: BMW UK Manufacturing. Project Manager. Responsible for Logistics service provider review (re-tender all UK operations) and Parallel Production project steering.• Legacy Logistics Contracts outdated and not cost efficient. • Restructured and bundled for efficiency all Transport/warehousing and line side delivery Logistic service provider contracts for UK.• Evaluated existing situation, completed structured analysis of strengths and weaknesses. Redesigned Request for tender. Led tender and technical evaluation. Completed Supplier selection and start of Service.• New contracts implemented successfully on time with significant operational and cost benefits.
