• Having joined in November 2020, I built the Internal IT Audit ( IT & Cyber Security Audit) function. The Audit team supports a highly complex structure and range of Insurance, Broker and Financial Services companies under the Ardonagh Group spanning 50+ Brands such as Arachas, Towergate, MDS, Usay etc. This includes over 10+ separate IT Environments, many which are supported by their own dedicated IT teams or outsource suppliers. • I created the IT Audit Universe, focusing on an “outside-in” approach for audit coverage: Strategy & Governance, Perimeter Network, Internal Infrastructure, Applications. I determine and manage the audit plans including the scope and entities for coverage.• I interviewed and hired a team of two IT audit resources with operational IT experience to provide a small, autonomous and skilled team that can cover all key IT areas.• I regularly attend Technology Committees, Cyber Security forums, Data Management Committee and have meetings with Heads of IT.• Graduated from the internal Management Training Programme.• Nominated for Best new Starter 2021, at the 2022 Ardonagh Spotlight awards.

Supported CLS and JPMorgan:• Managing audits from end to end, supporting planning activities, providing technical expertise.• Example reviews: IT SOX/CCAP, AWS Cloud, Service Management, Cyber Incident Management, Technology Architecture, Software Development Lifecycle and Automation, Audits of project and application implementations,

• Joined during M&A integration whereby VISA Inc took over VISA Europe. Consulted on the re-baselining of the Europe IT & Cyber Security Audit Universe, and re-baselining or ‘right-sizing’ of IT Audit roles in Europe.• Consulted on the scope and planning of all Global IT Audits performed i.e. USB and Email DLP, Batch, Backup, Vulnerability and many more to ensure UK regulatory expectations were met to aid in reporting to the Bank of England.• Led on technical audit-work covering the US environment i.e. Networks, WAF, Firewall, encryption certificate management, configuration reviews.• Management of key IT stakeholder relationships in Europe.

• Assigned lead for all IT Infrastructure audits assigned such as Storage, Windows, Active Directory, DDOS, DLP, SQL, Oracle, managing teams of up to 5 auditors per assignment.• SME in the Audit team for Windows Platforms, Active Directory & Distributed Databases (Oracle/SQL).• Nominated for Audit of the year – Windows Desktop Audit.• Preparing packs for presentation by Head of Infrastructure audit to support board meetings/committees.

• Working in a small team responsible for IT Infrastructure and Cyber Audits covering EMEA, US and various subsidiaries. Performing ad-hoc ITGC and Application work to support where applicable.• Had direct access to all requested IT/Cyber Security tools and systems such as SQL and ORA databases, WAF, IDS/IPS, SCCM, Proxy, CyberArk, Internal and External Firewalls.• Performed ad-hoc Data Analytics (ACL) to support audit work and also monthly data analytics extracts to support other audit teams i.e. KYC data.• Ad-hoc audit requests such as project reviews specifically application implementations.

• Leading and participation in IT Audits in one of the world’s largest Insurance companies. Example audits including Disaster Recovery, Application audits, General Ledger, Underwriting and Claims etc.

• Managed and supported IT audits across one of the largest UK insurance companies.• Performed Data Analytics (ACL) on Service Desk and Active Directory data. • Led a project to select and implement a new Audit Management system.• Department communications representative.• Managed the Internal Audit KPI reports & rolled out audit stakeholder satisfaction questionnaires. • Rolled out a range of Insurance fundamentals courses as a deliverable on the graduate scheme.
