I’m a career hospitalist with an MBA who learned Epic before medicine—offering a unique advantage in how I approach problems as a physician. I’m interested in the intersection of healthcare delivery and operations, leveraging the data from Epic as well as designing workflows and interfaces to enhance clinical care. I worked at Epic for over 3 years as a Project Manager in Madison and several years later on as an Epic consultant. I loved the problem solving aspect of the job, but came to appreciate the complexity of clinical decision making and took a risk to pivot in to medical school. During medical school, I was fortunate to be involved in several Epic-related projects as a consultant. Two projects at The Dartmouth Institute focus on a learning health system. I've supported various hospital and clinic go-lives during medical school as a consultant. As well, I had the chance to do remote consulting for several academic organizations. I also pursued an MBA during this time with a focus on operations.I completed Internal Medicine residency at WashU and excited to take the next step to launch into Hospital Medicine with an established track record of leadership and innovation.
