The device is a electro/mechanical means to simulate the beneficial effects of walking when sitting or recumbent, called FOOTBEAT. I was a practicing Orthopedic Surgeon for 37 years and founding partner of Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Associates in Grand Junction, CO. My specialty was total joint arthroplasty and foot surgery.
