I rose to CIO and took a leadership role in building our IT department, creating a top-notch claims processing system, and developing high-performing teams with a focus on service and partnership with all departments.Our acquisition and merger into Sentara Health Plan presented new challenges, as Sentara was eager to adopt our claims processing system for their expanding enterprise. I led that migration, then took on an expanded role managing all of our major administrative platforms.My move to the City of Richmond in 2022 tapped into my core expertise and my passion for building efficient, effective services. My first initiative was to transform the IT service delivery model and make it easier for internal customers to access our services.The opportunity to serve others is what drives me every day.
