Helmand/Nimruz Provinces, Afghanistan

Provided mounted, dismounted, and airborne security of high value personnel, EOD team escort and security, and additional convoy security in Helmand, Nimruz, and Farah Provinces in Southern Afghanistan. Duties included providing dismounted overwatch, mounted and dismounted patrolling, assisting in dismounted IED sweeps, directing vehicle-mounted machine gun fire, operating both MATV and MRAP tactical vehicles, and vehicle recovery.
