Played a huge part in the success of reMarks in the Grande Prairie market, as well as the great results (acheived over 9million in sales) in 2012.Was a big part in the relocation of the High Level Mark's Store, this included organizing the move of product from the old location to the new location.I also got experience in doing Inventory audits for our District. I attended and audited Peace River, High Level, Dawson Creek, Fort Saint John and Grande Prairie Inventories.I continued to run Shoe U courses for Northern Alberta and BC.I also continued to be the Subject Matter Expert for PMM.Day to Day responsibilities included Creating Raving Fans, Mentoring and Growing Associates, Payroll Management, Profit and Loss Statements, Loss Prevention , Associate Recruiting , Associate Training, Associate Retention, Merchandising, Driving Key Success Factors, Relationship Building with Customers and Associates.

I had the honor of taking this store from a very small location with sales less then 1.5 million and growing it into over 3 million dollars a year before I was moved to Grande Prairie to run one of the largest volumes stores at Mark's.While in Dawson I worked with Mark's to meet the specific industry and WCBC standards for Fire Retardant Gear as well as other Personal Protective Equipment and getting in a proper assortment of safety boots relevant to the area.When it came time to source locations for a new store I worked with Jason Maynes from Canadian Tire to secure the best placement of the new store. I had to facilitate the arrival and sorting of fixtures while working with the construction crews and Store Design to prepare the store to be opened.Day to Day responsibilities included Creating Raving Fans, Mentoring and Growing Associates, Payroll Management, Profit and Loss Statements, Loss Prevention , Associate Recruiting , Associate Training, Associate Retention, Merchandising, Driving Key Success Factors, Relationship Building with Customers and Associates.I was also put in charge of facilitating Shoe U (Mark's Course to make our Associates Experts on Safety Footwear) I ran these for Peace River, High Level, Fort Saint John, Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie Mark's Locations. I had to track scores and test each attendee then provide a pass or fail so that we could have knowledgeable footwear experts in every location.I was also made the Subject Mater Expert for PMM (Mark's Inventory Application), in this capacity I was trained first in the application and then was responsible to train our District of Stores. After Training I was to be the first contact for support for those stores as well as many of my peers.I also had the fortune to work with Heather Veitch RLPM in creating a Fast Find Return SOP, as well as sharing a Store Daily Safe Count sheet that I created to ensure my safe was always balanced, it soon became a SOP and part of our Culture.
