I am responsible for coordinating production at CCB's three production breweries - Spey Valley Brewery in Speyside, Alechemy Brewing in Livingston and Broughton Ales near Biggar.I liaise with the sales team to ensure the correct products are produced by the brewers and are available when needed. I liaise between each of the three breweries and various 3rd party packaging sites to coordinate new and existing products for manufacture.I liaise with ingredient producers and packaging material manufacturers to ensure they are with the production sites in a timely manner and made to the correct specifications for manufacture - i.e. pack size, bar code, material of construction, labels, dates, bottle type, carbonation level, etc.New Product Development - Beers - Researched, commissioned and brewed classic and trending beer styles. I also take an active role in brand development and work closely with our graphic designers.New Product Development - Spirits -Trained on gin and liqueur design and production with iStill University in Holland. I have developed gin for use within our company and also for 3rd parties. Process Operator at Cardhu Distillery, the brand home of Johnny Walker. I was responsible for the safe and correct operation of all production plant and compliance documentation relevant to producing new make spirit at this single operator site. Started 12 month sabbatical from Diageo 1st January 2016.

Responsible for operating all plant equipment and completion of all relevant compliance paperwork required for the production and dispatch of new make spirit at Diageo's largest and newest malt distillery.In addition to operational duties I also carry out investigative tasks pertaining to Quality, Efficiency and Energy. In 2012 I successfully completed an MSc project on heat recovery synergies within the Burghead group, identifying significant energy saving potential.

Recruited after graduation as an Operations Technician at Glen Grant and The Glenlivet Distillery, Chivas Brothers two largest malt distilleries and largest selling Speyside malts. As they were lone worker plants, I was solely responsible for operation of all equipment and completion of all relevant compliance paperwork for the production and despatch of new make spirit from each site during my time on shift.
