Before deployment, I worked with my unit and brigade on many different topics, including but not limited to:  Team building activities,  Weapons and combat training, and  Familiarizing myself with the cultures, language, flora and fauna of Afghanistan. During deployment, my duties included but were not limited to: Working with the intelligence team to survey the threat level in and around my post, Performing security duty on both gates and towers Training the Afghanis in the various duties and needs around the post, Communicate with units coming off shift to gather intel on any threats that were encountered• In charge of running analytical algorithms to detect threat levels for the area, • Act as a liaison with troops going on duty, giving them written and verbal updates regarding the issues of the previous shift and the incidents to beware of for the upcoming shift.• Analyze incoming data for pattern recognition
