Responsible for leading the statutory reporting, taxation planning, financial accounting, budget/forecasting and audit processes for the Pacific Hydro Group.Pacific Hydro is a leading renewable energy company with significant investment in wind and hydro technologies in Australia, Chile and Brazil.The role also assists global China State Owned Energy company S.P.I.C (Parent Company) with accounting and taxation advice with respect to global acquisitions.

Responsible for all group statutory, regulatory, management reporting. Responsible for all tax planning and compliance activities of the group.Reponsible for project managing the defense against the comprehensive tax audit by the ATO, spanning multiple issues and tax years.

Assurance & Advisory Partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships. Responsibility to growth revenues by maintaining strategic relationships within the market; understand corporate needs and providing solutions to those needs, understand the overall firm’s vision and strategy and implement it within our own cluster of influence. Responsible for the delivery of quality client service to a portfolio of clients, combined with responsibility for mentoring and providing career direction for a direct group of approximately 30 staff, responsible for the delivery of financial results including growth, billings and productivity of our team. Responsible for the overall strategy for the client account, building plans to enhance relationships at various levels between both organisations, leading a hands-on approach to developing these relationships by spending time with strategic people, going to functions, having working meetings and entertaining where appropriate. Experienced in building successful long term relationships with the Board members and the executive teams of clients, responsible for being the interface of the firm and Melbourne’s Japanese business community. Delivered presentations in relation to the commercial implications of Climate change to a number of forums including a presentation to 50 Chief Financial Officers from the Melbourne business community, a breakfast round-table discussion with CEO’s, an accounting professional body over dinner and over 100 members at a CPA training convention.
