Strong focus is placed on relationship management with key stakeholders E.g. schools and community representatives, and also involves analysis and auditing of financial documentation for compliance. Requires knowledge in construction, asset management, project management, capital upgrades, compliance, maintenance, and cost control. Time planning and priority setting in a self managed professional environment. Key tasks include -• Managing a large number of schools on leaky building and earthquake prone remediation, key in identifying and coordinating the process all the way through to remediation or replacement of effected structures. Due to growing size and scope of the identified works the total value of the projects is large and unknown.• BWOF / Maintenance management and planning to ensure safe environments across all schools.• The preparation and review of asset management plans.• Additional and replacement classrooms and infrastructure delivery to cater for growing rolls in the Auckland region of over 200 teaching spaces.• Capital upgrades to ensure asset management and modernization of existing building stock to modern learning environment standards.
