Current-Manage and run the overall development approvals program in Western Canada for Choice Properties REIT being primarily retail intensification of existing grocery store anchored sites to date with a focus moving forward on the redevelopment of underperforming assets in urban markets across Western Canada. In Western Canada, over 515,000sf of new retail development has been built to date with another 50,000sf -75,000sf planned over the course of the next 2 years. -Oversee and manage the land use approvals process for the redevelopment of Cariboo Mall at 435 North Rd in Coquitlam, BC. Preapplication has been submitted to the City of Coquitlam for upwards of 1.8 million sf of residential/commercial density on the property with an overall project budget of over $1 billion upon build out. -Oversee and manage Choice Properties industrial land holdings in Surrey Campbell Heights, BC including all entitlements required for the lands including zoning, servicing agreements, subdivision, and site wide design guidelines as negotiated with the City of Surrey. -Manage a wide array of consulting teams across Western Canada including architects, landscape architects, lawyers, and engineers.
