CurrentDesigned and developed SilverStripe websites with a focus on Web Accessibility Standards for screen readers, helping people with disabilities to perceive, understand, contribute and navigate online.Worked with a large team of designers, back-end developers, project managers, quality assurance testers, corporate clients and directors to complete large scale government, council and tertiary education websites.Clients worked with:- Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment- Transpower- Environmental Science and Research- Taranaki Regional Council- New Zealand Open Source AwardsUsed content delivery networks with fallbacks, minified stylesheets, javascript and compressed images to reduce the number of HTTP requests to the server as well as caching to improve site-wide performance.Experienced with Compass and Gulp pre-processor tools.Solid experience working with source control (Github, Bitbucket)Stripped back websites and features into reusable components in order to save project time and wasted resources.Used Composer for back-end dependencies, Node Package Manager / Grunt for front-end development and production dependencies.Experience using JIRA and Redmine project management software tracking tools.
