With over 20 years of experience in leadership, I am passionate about delivering excellence in learning and organizational development using Systems Thinking. I have developed and led teams to improve outcomes, implemented innovative strategies to drive success, and embraced challenges with a collaborative and hard-working mindset. Currently, I am a Systems Thinking Specialist with the Waters Center where I work to make the world a better place using Systems Thinking. I have experience in P-12 education systems, healthcare systems and organizational development. My expertise is in adult-learning, curriculum, instruction, and assessment design, and organizational change management. I am also an adjunct faculty at Pacific University, where I teach courses in educational leadership and policy. Previously, I was the director of implementation and instruction for Pre-AP and Springboard at the College Board, where I managed projects, designed and led professional learning, and coached district and school leaders to deepen and expand their implementation of curricular programs. I spearheaded research projects, drove an over 85% renewal rate, and leveraged gap analysis to design professional learning rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. My career in education began as a classroom teacher and evolved as I pursued roles as a teacher-leader, assistant principal, and principal. As a school principal, leading a large comprehensive high school, I initiated and led curriculum development and implementation, led the school culture to enhance student learning and value the multiple pathways for students to include career and college.I also have a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy, a systems thinking facilitator certification, a SCRUM project management certifications, and skills in data analysis, instructional design, and talent development.
