Even though entrepreneur is a buzz word, I truly believe that it is the one word that summarizes me. Most of my high school experience involved some sort of entrepreneurial experience. First was my schools version of Shark Tank called LA Tank. My team and I created a system for buying food at our schools cafeteria with our student IDs. After we presented, the school implemented a version of our idea. In 2017, there was a solar eclipse with a major lack of eclipse glasses. What I did was buy eclipse glasses in bulk then I posted ads on social media. I spent two days running around Chicago selling them and made a decent profit. That same year, I sold my first pair of shoes which started my reselling business. After graduating high school, I decided to spend my time reselling shoes. While quarantined, I had rekindled my interest in finance, specifically the stock market. I decided to get a finance degree to better understand financial systems and learn how to become an analyst. In my future, I hope to run my own hedge fund. Until then, I want to join a company where my sales skills and financial knowledge will help the company be successful.
