I have 33 years’ experience working in various industries and for the last 15 years I have been working in the Mining & Minerals and Oil & Gas Sectors. My current role is working for SCEE Electrical as the E&I Operations Manager responsible for both Newman and Port Hedland which includes overseeing all works across these areas.Prior to that I was working for Monadelphous as the Delivery Manager for the East Pilbara Region which included multidiscipline projects, maintenance and shutdowns for all our clients. I am an Electrician by trade however during this time I was responsible for the management of multidiscipline projects and personnel including but not limited to structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and civils.Prior to that I was the E&I Manager for the whole of the Monadelphous Mining & Minerals West Division which is still part of my current role, this includes being responsible for all aspects of electrical works. I am also the Electrical Nominee which requires me to travel to various sites to ensure the electrical installation work complies with Australian Standards, Client and Company Requirements.I have extensive experience in successfully delivering projects, maintenance and shutdowns to multiple clients. I have an exceptional record of delivering works safely, to the highest quality and standard, on time whilst maintaining good financial performance for Monadelphous and our clients.Prior to Monadelphous I worked for North Lake Electrical for over 18 years where I was a Supervisor for the last five years and a partner in the business for the last 3 years. This opportunity provided me with valuable experience in running a business.Over my career I have worked for various clients including but not limited to BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG, Roy Hill, Citic Pacific Mining, Chevron, Woodside, BP, Synergy and the WA Government.
