I have over 30 years of project management, superintendent, quality control, and estimating experience in the Engineering and Construction Industry. My project management experience includes contract management, subcontract management, and the development of strategic alliances with other project managers, engineers, architects, skilled tradesman and clients. I have a complete understanding of the change order, submittal review and construction schedule process. As the Project Manager and Owner of a General Contracting business, it was my exclusive responsibility to locate potential projects, estimate and prepare contracts and subcontracts, as well as oversee project completion. In my earlier years in the construction industry I performed as an estimator for the owners of D.W. Wilson Construction and Premier Engineers in California (1995 to 1999). I have performed as a Quality Control Manager, Project Manager and Superintendent on numerous projects. All my Construction roles have required that I perform quantitative take-offs for all trades. I have developed a solid knowledge of RS Means and I have cultivated outstanding relationships with subcontractors in various trades which has led to successful outcomes on submitted proposals. With extensive knowledge of construction trades and the understanding of building codes & regulations, each project has been completed successfully, on time and within budget. My construction experience has included working with the following federal agencies: United States Army Corps of Engineers, 99 CONS (Nellis AFB), Department of Energy, Bureau of Land Management, Environmental Protection Agency and the General Services Agency (GSA). My proven track record of managing trades on projects using my knowledge of “construction flow” ensures the project schedules and budgets are met.
