Having grown up under the approach path for Chicago O'Hare airport, I naturally took an interest in the airplanes constantly flying overhead. My dreams of starting flight training finally came true the Monday after my last classes as high schooler, when I went out to my local airport for my first flight lesson. Two and a half months later, in August 2022, I earned my private pilot certificate. Today, I am a first year Commercial Aviation and Aviation Management double major at the University of North Dakota. I am currently pursing my Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and I intend to graduate in May 2025.When I am not flying, I am a Career Mentor at UND Career Services and play viola for the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra. At UND, I am involved in UND Aerobatics, SAMA, and ALPA ACE, and give back to the Grand Forks community volunteering at the local hospital. I enjoy cycling, playing guitar, and spending time outside.
