Oil and Gas pipelay Internal Plasma Robot Welding

Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Performing a range of hands-on electrical and mechanical tasks including maintaining, testing and fault-finding electrical motors, cables and switch gear• Isolating and locking out various equipment for safe working including high pressure hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, water systems, as well as low- and high voltage electrical systems up to 33kv• Maintaining, repairing and fault-finding electrical and instrumentation equipment at hot strip mill, temper mill and roll shop • Maintaining, servicing and repairing precipitator for de-dusting and pneumatic actuator circuits• Rerouting and upgrading electrical cables and panels of various machines and hydraulic blocks• Performing mechanical maintenance such as replacing hydraulic and water valves, hydraulic and water high pressure pipes and replacing bearings• Replacing and aligning electrical motors• Overhead crane maintenance and fault-finding of Yaskawa, ABB and AC10 drives, working with gantry protection, relay logic, contactors and cable faults• Basic arc welding and manufacturing various parts• Building strong working relationships and effective communication channels with key stakeholders, resolving complaints and enquiries• Reading and interpreting technical documentation• Producing various reports, analyses, correspondence and other documentation • Performing as a strong member of a cohesive team with strict adherence to health, safety and statutory regulations, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements
