I knew "of" him but did not really get to know him until I was roughly a Junior at Bucknell where he came back to his old stomping grounds to give back to the wrestling community and work at Bucknell as a Donor Relations and Development representative. It was in the training he provided us athletes on how to communicate with former alumni, how to show the upmost respect, and how to be courteous when reaching out and providing gratitude for those former Bison who have given back. That was the first time I really saw deep into what Dave was all about, integrity. It speaks volumes to who he is as a person and what is resides in his heart. He doesn't have to come in every night and help coach youth kids at our local wrestling club, he CHOOSES to do that. He takes the time away from his wife and child to come and give back to a sport AND a school that has given him so much. It is admiration at its finest. The solidifying factor for me and my opinion on Dave occurred after I graduated... The simple fact that he stayed in touch and held conversations consistently trying to help me in anyway he could cemented my thoughts on this person. He even put me in contact with his wife for a job opening! I mean talk about a stand up guy and what you look for in an employee? If I could afford to hire Dave, I would, without a doubt, or second guess. He is the type of person you bring into an organization to implement strong values and great character traits. I can't speak highly enough about this individual. He is top-tier when it comes to what you look for in any type of company, firm, organization, or team. Read a few books about leadership as I have, and you can see the similarities of a great leader." and "David helped with running the Bison Wrestling Club, while I was the finance person and director of the club. Dave was a coach of my 12 year old son as well. He was not only a great working with good personality, punctual and on time.
