I am a Director of Austral Archaeology, with significant experience in both Aboriginal and Post-European historical cultural heritage projects. I have presented papers based on my excavation projects at various archaeological conferences and events across Australia.My career in archaeology started in 2000 in the UK, and I have worked on sites across England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Vietnam and Australia. I cut my teeth as a field archaeologist and have worked my way through the roles of site planner, supervisor, and excavation director, while I now sit in a senior archaeologist role - taking control of project management, mentoring junior archaeologists, undertaking GIS mapping work and ensuring the quality of our reports. I have been nominated excavation director on approved permits at both the State and local level by the NSW Heritage Division. Between me and my colleagues at Austral Archaeology, we are familiar with the legislative requirements for historic and Aboriginal archaeology throughout NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Tasmania and SA.
