About David Markle
Fortunate to play professional golf all over the world. Diagnosed with type-1 diabetes in 2011, I have been committed to providing opportunity to people living with diabetes. In 2014, I founded the "Dufferin DiabeTees Day of Champions" in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association summer kids D-Camps, national camps for kids with type-1 diabetes. Our first annual "Dufferin DiabeTees Day of Champions" raised $41,000 sending many kids to D-Camps. ________________________________________________________________________________Interested in connecting with individuals and companies dedicated to investing in diabetes care and awareness to help push my career in professional golf and diabetes initiatives forward.
