Drafting and review of, contracts (Reviewing) and Sub-contracts (Drafting and Reviewing) to ensure Subcontracts have been drawn up prior to commencement of work and to review Subcontracts drawn up by the project Quantity Surveyor. Identifying and managing risk and opportunities associated with the contract and ensuring notifications are submitted on time, with supporting documentation as necessary. . Provide commercial/contractual advice to the construction team, Ensuring corporate governance is adhered to regarding Subcontractors insurances and tax responsibilities are in place, and that they are registered for all necessary constructions schemes are required by the contract and government bodies. (i.e. Safe T Cert for all tier 1 Subcontractor)Liaising with our in house legal & insurance team to ensure that notification, preparation and agreement of insurance claims which may arise as a result of the works, are kept up to date. To oversee WIP levels and cash flow to ensure efficient processes and cash collection for the duration of the project. Review the monthly financial reports (Cost Value Reconciliation) identifying areas for concern, and areas for improvement, with the project QS and site Project Manager, before presentation Senior Management for review.
