• Negotiate contracts for supplies, services, software, and equipment for multi hospital organization.• Initiate Request for Proposal process with departments and vendors.• Validate Letters of Participation/Letters of Commitment for Group Purchasing Organization related system wide contracts.• Maintain vendor relationships in regards to sourcing, selecting and partnering to ensure all terms and conditions for business transactions with vendors and customers is properly managed.• Manage and foster collaborative relationships between department leaders and contracting staff.• Manage and foster collaborative relationships between vendor representatives and contracting staff.• Work with Director of Sourcing and Contracting to obtain annual savings goal for EMHS system.• Report realized savings and lost opportunities for negotiated system agreements.

Maintaining inventory levels for non routine items, assist Operating Room management in pulling usage reports on items. Maintain supply and service contracts. Help negotiate pricing on capital purchases as well as supply agreements. Sit on Product Review team to make sure direct costs stay down while providing the best possible care to patients.
