I was one of the lead designers of this technology, the first prototypes of which were produced in 2016. Following this, the core design was radically changed to facilitate the installation/removal of the hydraulic assembly meaning this could be deployed on any number of Uni-Props, without the requirement of one per prop. My role as MD of Uni-Prop International commenced in Sept '17 to bring Uni-Prop to market initially in the UK and then into overseas territories. My areas of responsibility cover all aspects of our growing business including: production, sales, marketing, IP management, research & development, product testing & accreditations, IT management, logistics, warehousing, distribution & supply.I am particularly proud to say we have completely addressed the Health & Safety aspects of using these types of products on building sites and the like. Over 2016 & 2017 there were 606,000 reported Acrow related accidents including 35 fatalities and I am sincerely hopeful that Uni-Prop will have a significant impact in dramatically reducing these stats. We are already witnessing a trade-in of old Acrows for our great new innovation, where the delivery of power is controlled, absolutely safe and fit for purpose.I am currently overseeing the development of the Uni-Prop Hydraulic Trench Strut range which will also radically impact on Health & Safety concerns with current solutions. The range is now in place and will shortly be included on our website.

As Joint Managing Director I successfully established a product in the hospitality and wine services industry, taking the product from concept innovation to export to 90 countries globally. The product is used in hotels, bars and public houses to effectively store and serve wine by the glass, optimising profitability for the seller.
