 RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification  Level 3 Award in First Aid At Work with AED  Swim England (ASA) Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) Maintain and oversee the swimming pool while customers are using the facilities.  Work as part of a team for the majority of the time, have great relationships with all co-workers and enjoy being able to motivate eachother to work as hard as possible during each shift. The team that I work with on a shift-to-shift basis is different, and I enjoy the variation and the interaction with different colleagues on different shifts.  Time management is essential for this role: setting up lessons or equipment on time, and ensuring the team works together to get this done efficiently is a rewarding aspect of the job and has ensured my time management and organizational skills are exceptional.  Interaction with the customers is one of the aspects of the role that I most enjoy. Providing information about the facility, helping out customers with concerns or problems, and generally speaking with the public on a daily basis is rewarding and enjoyable.  Inspiring the local community to take up new sports and use the Places for People facility is something I have enjoyed during my time as a lifeguard

• Organisation and logistical skills were essential for this role. As part of my job I pick and load many items from different stock locations, requiring me to be punctual and efficient throughout my shift. • As part of my role, I ensured stock was undamaged and suitable for customer delivery, and required me to be attentive and observant when I was handling customer stock, and make sure that all issues or reports of damaged stock were reported to the control desk. • Health & safety was important in a large warehouse, and I learned to be attentive to health and safety concerns in the workplace, something which I have brought to all of my roles since.
