I moved to West Sussex in my early teens with my parents and younger brother from the Island of Bermuda where my father had been involved with the revaluation of the island for the Bermudian government. We settled in West Chiltington. Both my parents were involved in property, my mother worked for Prudential Estate Agents in Arundel and my father was FRICS specialising in commercial property, initially for the VOA in Worthing then moving into private practice with his own business in Storrington and many retained clients in London.Having finished my A levels at Sion in Worthing I went to Sheffield University to study Estate Management, looking to follow in my father’s footsteps. Sadly, after a couple of years, due to personal family reasons I left Sheffield and started working for General Accident Property services in Chapel Road, Worthing. I worked at GA for a number of years as a senior negotiator. Eventually I was seduced by the attraction of luxury cars and ended up working for a number of prestige manufacturers including Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Land Rover. With the onset of Covid I re-evaluated my work-life balance and decided to revisit my long standing interest in commercial property, joining the team in Chapel Road as a Negotiator. Personally I live on the outskirts of Ashington with my wife Katie who is just about to finish retraining as a teaching assistant and our two boys, Robert who is 6 (going on 16) and James who is 3. When we are not running the boys around to various activities such as football, swimming lessons, as a family we love the countryside and taking country walks, often ending at a pub for a Sunday Roast.In my free time I enjoy Field Sports and various country pursuits. I also enjoy tinkering with my classic Porsche 911 which I personally restored a few years ago. I also have a love of music and recently dug out my old Technics turntables and mixing deck from the loft, much to my wife’s amusement as she thinks I am experiencing a mid life crisis, the second one after restoring the Porsche!Expertise: Negotiation (Freehold and Lease), Commercial Property Valuation, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Relationship Management, Networking.
