After thirty years of experience as a Federal Reserve executive, financial markets researcher, and business educator, I recently joined Epsilon Economics as a Managing Director, where I lead Epsilon Economics' practice related to financial markets and institutions. Before joining Epsilon Economics, I served as Senior Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where I directed the Financial Markets Research Group.While on assignment with the U.S. Treasury in 2012, I was the principal author of the Financial Stability Oversight Council’s 2012 Annual Report. I currently serve on the faculty of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. In my free time, I’m a passionate opera buff. I’m on the executive committee of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Guild Board, and I love to travel as long as the destination is a great opera house with a great opera performance.
