I joined MSL in Sept 2019 following a review of the business and I played a critical role in the turnaround of the business through commercial and financial control, capital and debt raising, strategic acquisitions and divestments. The business quickly returned to profitability and positive cash flow and reduced all interest-bearing debt leading to the sale of the ASX listed entity to Private Equity via a Scheme of Arrangement in February 2023. The premium for shareholders was 80% above the traded price and the $119 million value was a $100 million increase from September 2019.

Sydney’s new Waratah fleet is the next generation of suburban passenger trains, designed to provide customers with improved security, safety and accessibility. The NSW Government's Rolling Stock Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract between Sydney Trains and Reliance Rail was established in 2006 to build and maintain 626 new Waratah carriages. The new fleet replaced about half of Sydney's suburban fleet. As the Commercial Director, I was responsible for managing all commercial and accounting elements of the PPP Contract with Reliance Rail.

Aurion provides an integrated payroll and Human Resources Enterprise Solution that manages the whole employee life cycle and is part of the Chandler Macleod Group.The Role: Managed all aspects of the business providing leadership on strategy development and execution, product development, professional services consultancy of sophisticated implementation projects, sales and marketing and the delivery of outsourced payroll solutions.

Specialising in the employment services market providing recruitment, contractor and staff services across the Asia Pacific region.The Role: Managed the Shared Services Division of the Clarius Group (50 employees) providing all finance and accounting services including payroll for 4,500+ contractors, treasury, taxation and advisory services as well as negotiations of necessary property leases, IT infrastructure and business systems responsibilities and legal, commercial and compliance functions.

Mincom was Australia’s largest independent software vendor and a global technology partner for asset-intensive industries delivering enterprise and e-business solutions to the mining, utilities, transportation, defence and government industries. The Role: Managed a large team in a multi-national environment with diverse skills to provide all finance and accounting services including board/management reporting, global treasury and corporate taxation and advisory services as well as negotiations of necessary property facilities, including leases and utilities.Completed buyout by US Private Equity of 100% of company via Scheme of Arrangement.
