Initially retirement included assisting with parents, then remodeling, followed by road trips to visit our children in other states. We expanded our flower gardens, with a special interest in roses, and love walks on the beaches of Lake Erie, joining in the hunt for "sea glass". Winter brings out the lumberjack skills in getting wood for our woodstove which we love to watch, and this spring we will attempt tapping and making our own maple syrup, following our son's lead.
