After almost 4 years of teaching, I have developed my own teaching style based on experience and theory. My guiding philosophy for everything I do is to create compassionate, creative, critical thinkers. I believe in using a student-centered approach that teaches skills through content, so no matter what path a student chooses to take he or she will have the skills to be successful in life. In addition to using data-driven instruction based on standard-compliant curriculum, developing the individual as a whole (emotionally, socially, and intellectually) is of utmost importance to me.
