Greetings,After twenty five years of service to our country, I left behind the Navy’s primary technical support organization where I was responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance training, diagnosis and repair of shipboard command & control systems, computer networks, satellite communications, data encryption, radar and navigation equipment. And after a contract job with Lockheed-Martin, I teamed with Mazak Optonics where I serviced & installed industrial lasers from 2005-2014.In 2014, I set out in a new direction. To do what I always envisioned I would do as my life's work, something I love doing, for which I am best suited, and that's inventing things that solve problems.In 2015, I started Creative By Design llc with a goal to develop one new and useful product every month for the next year. After that, I would begin to license and sell them by putting them on the open market in the form of intellectual property, or in some cases as an actual product just to prove they would sell. This plan was put to the test when my wife JoAnna commented on a NextDoor post about paving stone repair and that my paver extraction tool was for available for sale. JoAnna was unaware that although she'd seen prototypes, the first production run was still weeks away. So, I took back orders via e-mail and then set up an e-commerce site. It did so well I couldn't handle all the orders, so I shut down my e-commerce site and got on Amazon where it has been selling successfully since 2019.Since 1978 my primary focus has been providing advanced technical services to solve complex problems. My skill set is exceptionally deep and diverse with thousands of hours of advanced technical training and decades of experience. Now I develop unique solutions to common problems and license those ideas to companies who recognize the opportunity to capitalize.
