Responsilbe for global logistics network with leadership responsibility in the implementation of logistics systems and strategies.*Manage all door to door logistics activities including export,import, and US distribution support.*Assimilate forecast data into shipping plans and load optimization.*Monitor and audit all logistics processes to ensure compliance.*Negotiate air,overland and local cartage service parameters and pricing. *Negotiate 3PL rates for storage,temperature cntrol, level four warehousing,product staging, loading and processing.*Develop logistics processes, procedures and foms as required to support product flow. *Consult and advise management on logisitic issues.*Interface with global trade law attorneys and others regardsing international commerce.*Monitor seasonal and peak lift capacity and logistic economic trends.*Monitor US and International Agencies for new regulations or developments.*Develop and manage import and export manuals.*Develop and manage yearly logistics budget.Document work practices and policies.*Establish and maintain performance metrics.
