I worked for UPLIFT Desk from Dec. 27th 2016 until I was included in a company layoff on Apr. 11th 2023. I worked in several departments as needed as my skills grew. I started working in the warehouse, banding and building pallets for shipments. From there I was promoted to shipping lead. I oversaw parcels from Freight and Parcel shipments and ensured their contents were accurate per the placed order requests. Also ensuring the addresses were correct and accurate. From there I was then promoted to a logistics supervisor where I handled billings and communications with FedEx for audits and damaged/missing parcels. After working for several months in this position I was then moved to quality control for our incoming products. I ensured they were being created per our design specifications and that there were no flaws or damages on any of the units. Once inspected the items would then be released for retail. I was then promoted to a sales and customer service associate where I was working with customers on a day to day basis, providing quotes and detailed insight into our products. After some time in this position I was then promoted to a sales and customer service supervisor. I was in charge of my own team who came to me for questions regarding their work and to proof their work before submission. Also to assist with any difficult customers or problems they may have. I scheduled weekly meetings to go over progress and layout plans for new SOP's or new announcements from management, while still providing quotes and customer service to current and new customers. This is where I remained during the rest of my tenure with UPLIFT Desk.
